Mattias De Leeuw is a young and versatile artist. He works as a freelance illustrator for books and magazines. You can also find him on stage doing live drawing performances. He graduated in 2011 with a wordless picture book, The Stilt Walker, for which he was awarded a Book Feather in 2013. You can find fluidity and narrative power of his illustrations, which are full of details and little side stories which appeal to adults and children alike. His books have been translated into French, German, English, Chinese, Russian, Danish and Italian.
